BIO 114 - Organisms
Explores how diverse life forms carry out fundamental processes that sustain life, including acquiring and using essential molecules, growing and reproducing, responding to environmental stimuli, and maintaining a stable internal environment. Introduces students to the scientific methods in a series of investigative lab and field experience. Prerequisite: BIO 101.
Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 6 hours per week.
