ITE 115 - Introduction to Computer Applications and Concepts
Covers computer concepts and internet skills, and uses a software suite which includes word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software to demonstrate skills. Recommended prerequisite keyboarding skills.
Lecture 3-4 hours per week.

This online course will help students to refine their computing skills in Microsoft Office and will review basic computer concepts. Students must have Microsoft Office 2007 Professional (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint) in order to complete the labs for this course. In addition, students will complete all of their tests online using the Myitlab software package which is bundled with the textbook. This software requires Windows XP and Internet Explorer for installation. It is highly recommended that students have DSL, cable, or other high-speed Internet connection.
