ITN 208 - Protocols and Communications TCP/IP
Centers on providing an understanding of the TCP/IP suite and the details of its implementation. The details of implementation are treated by discussing IP addressing, the structure of frames and protocol headers that enable communication between two computers. Discusses IP routing, tunneling, SNMP, and security.
Lecture 3-4 hours per week.

Students may be required to take at least one proctored assessment. Faculty will inform students of the proctored assessment requirements in the syllabus and class notes. Instructors may require a webcam and microphone for audio and video capabilities. Asynchronous classes may require a proctored exam from the Testing Center or another location. Students may be able to choose an optional remote proctoring service which requires a student fee.
