Nursing Principles and Concepts II - NUR 109 at Blue Ridge Community College

NUR 109 - Nursing Principles and Concepts II: Focuses on nursing care of individuals and/or families experiencing alterations in health. Includes math computational skills, basic computer instruction related to the delivery of nursing care; immunological, gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal, oncological and diabetic disorders and pre/post operative care in adult and pediatric clients. Provides supervised learning experiences in college nursing laboratories and/or cooperating agencies.

Lecture 1-5 hours. Laboratory 2-15 hours. Total 7-16 hours per week.
