Covers basic concepts of mechanics, systems of forces and couples, equilibrium of particles and rigid bodies, and internal forces and analysis of structures. Also includes trusses, frames, machines and beams, distributed forces, friction, centroids and moments of inertia. Prerequisite
PHY 241.
