Emergency Medical Technology II - EMT 112 at John Tyler Community College

EMT 112 - Emergency Medical Technology II: Continues material begun in EMT 112. Includes major trauma and medical emergencies, emergency childbirth procedures, lifting and moving patients, vehicle extrication, pediatric and environmental emergencies, and mass casualty situations. Required for certification as a Virginia EMT/B. Prerequisite EMT 111.

Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 2 hours. Total 4 hours per week.
