Introduction to Cardiology - EMT 220 at John Tyler Community College

EMT 220 - Introduction to Cardiology: Focuses the interpretation of Lead II electrocardiograms and their significance. Includes an overview of anatomy and physiology of the cardiovascular system including structure, function, and electrical conduction of the heart. [Recommended as a prerequisite or corequisite for the Paramedic curriculum or for individuals responsible for EKG recognition in the workplace.] Prerequisites: EMT/B certification or Health Care Provider.
