Teaches use and configuration of personal computer operating systems and applications programs, with emphasis on solving software-induced problems. Includes use of system utilities and selected diagnostic software. Includes use of a programming language.
Lecture 2-3 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 5-6 hours per week.

Teaches procedures for isolating and correcting problems in computers and computer-related hardware. Emphasizes operational concepts, use of diagnostic software and troubleshooting equipment.
