CHI 101 - Beginning Chinese I
Introduces understanding, speaking, reading, and writing skills; emphasizes basic Chinese sentence structure. Prerequisite: CHI 101 for CHI 102. Part I of II.

Teaches oral communication and introduces cultural mores and customs to students with no prior instruction in the language. Does not fulfill foreign language requirement for AA degree. Prerequisite: CHI 103 for CHI 104. Part I of II.
