Language Arts for Young Children - CHD 118 at Paul D. Camp Community College

CHD 118 - Language Arts for Young Children: Presents techniques and methods for encouraging the development of language and perceptual skills in young children. Stresses improvement of vocabulary, speech and methods to stimulate discussion. Surveys children's literature, examines elements of quality story telling and story reading, and stresses the use of audio-visual materials.

Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 2 hours. Total 4 hours per week.
