MTS 140 - Stock Car Engines I
Provides a comprehensive study concerning all areas of race engines including cylinder block configuration and classification. Covers principles of race engine operation and subsystems. Includes lubrication systems (both wet and dry sump) and specialized cooling systems.
Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 2 hours. Total 4 hours per week.
