Provides intensive instruction at the beginning level. Includes listening comprehension, pronunciation and oral production of basic grammatical structure; reading and vocabulary development; and introduction to the writing process.

Provides intensive instruction and practice at the intermediate level. Includes practice in oral communication skills needed in common situations; instruction to increase reading comprehension and vocabulary and practice in the writing process, emphasizing sentence structure, grammar and paragraph writing.

Provides instruction at the high intermediate level. Emphasizes reading and writing skills needed for successful completion of college work. Includes instruction to improve reading comprehension, study skills and reading rate. Introduces written academic English through practice in the writing process emphasizing summary writing, short essays and advanced language patterns.
