Teaches the basic techniques of creative dance. Skills include self-expression, contemporary routines, dance forms, and basic choreography.

Teaches the basic footwork, patterns, and coinciding body movements to various rhythms. Includes development of choreographic routines.

Explores the creation of spontaneous movement experiences with emphasis on self-expression and creature awareness. Includes improvisational techniques utillizing body awareness, use of the environment, and group dynamics.

Introduces the basic step patterns, rhythmic patterns, position, and formations of traditional and ethnic group dances.
