Industrial Supervision I - IND 121 at Tidewater Community College

IND 121 - Industrial Supervision I: Introduces the concept of the Supervisor as a Leader. Discusses the role of the Industrial Supervisor in the face of technology advances. Discusses the role of the Industrial Supervisor in leading organizational change and helping employees through transitions. Defines Leadership styles and the selection of the appropriate style. Introduces the Industrial Supervisor as a motivator in terms of job satisfaction, morale, job design competition, communication, and promotions. Presents ethical behavior and dilemmas in organizations.

Lecture 3 hours per week.
