TRK 110 - Survey of the Trucking Industry: Provides an overview of the trucking industry, and the characteristics of the professional truck driver. Emphasizes the uses of technology in the trucking industry, including simulators, mobile information management and communication, and electronic mapping techniques. Provides an introduction to the transportation of hazardous materials and environmental issues.

Lecture 3 hours per week.
