ITD 110 - Web Page Design I
Stresses a working knowledge of web site designs, construction, and management using HTML or XHTML. Includes headings, lists, links, images, image maps, tables, forms, and frames.
Lecture 3-4 hours per week.

ITD 112 - Designing Web Page Graphics
Explores the creation of digital graphics for web design. Includes basic design elements such as color and layout will be explored utilizing a computer graphis program(s).

ITD 120 - Design Concepts for Mobile Applications
Provides skills for designing both Web-based and stand-alone applications for wireless devices. Details discussions of the needs for applications including mobile phones and a range of rich hand-held devices such as PDA's. Emphasizes the importance of usability, accessibility, optimization and performance to create fast-loading business enterprise applications and games.

ITD 130 - Database Fundamentals
Introduces the student to Relational Database and Relational Database theory. Includes planning, defining and using a database; table design, linking, and normalization; types of databases, database description and definition.

Incorporates a working introduction to ccommands, functions and operators used in SQL for extracting data from standard databases.

Presents a working introduction to PL/SQL programming with the Oracle RDBMS environment. Includes PL/SQL fundamentals of block program structure, variables, cursors and exceptions, and creation of program units of procedures, functions, triggers and packages.

Covers an introduction to relational database theory and how to administer and query databases using multiple commercial database systems.

Incoporates advanced techniques in web site planning, design, usability, accessibility, advanced site management, and maintenance utilizing web editor software(s).

Provides techniques in interactive design concepts to create cross-platform, low-bandwidth animations utilizing a vector based application. Emphasizes the importance of usability, accessibility, optimization and performance.

ITD 220 - E-Commerce Administration
Emphasizes techniques to plan and to design a platform- independent commerce Web site. Focuses on web business strategies, and the hardware and software tools necessary for Internet commerce, including comparison and selection of commerce architecture, innstallation and configuration, security considerations, and planning of a complete business-to-consumer and a business-to-business site.

ITD 238 - Local and Remote Data Storage for Wireless Devices
Provides skills for utilizing mobile edition databases and file systems to support wireless applications. Implements local and remote development for systems including mobile phones and a range of hand-held devices such as PDAs. Addresses database instances and file systems for both connected and synchronized applications. Students will gain skills in using standard SQL (structured query language) to manipulate mobile databases.

Involves in-depth instruction about the underlying architecture of databases and the handling of database administration.

Provides the student the opportunity to solve a business problem from identification of the problem through the logical design and implementation on a database. Makes use of the knowledge that was gained in the prerequisite courses.
