- AIR 128 - Principles of Shipboard Regrigeration I

Introduces shipboard refrigeration principles and systems. Includes characteristic of refrigerants to include R-134a, R-12 and R-236f. Teaches basic theory of compressors, evaporator condensers, expansion valves, water regulating valves, evaporator pressure regulators and electric controls. Part I of II.
Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 2 hours. Total 4 hours per week.
