Studies the principals of direct digital controls. Presents common terms used within the HVAC control industry. Describes the function and operating characteristics of sensors, controllers, and final control devices. Describes transfer function for a control devise and details the development of equations for typical control transfer functions. Prerequisite:
ETR 179 or equivalent. endtext>Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 2 hours. Total 4 hours per week.
