Studies electronics and its applications in the HVAC field. Covers computers, programmable controllers, and microprocessors in the HVAC industry. Describes the construction, operation, and installation of more commonly used HVAC sensors, controllers, and final control devices. Covers the selection of a controller based upon the process characteristics, calibration of a control loop for best efficiency. Describes how to develop flow charts. Prerequisite:
