Introduces the student to the fundamental molecular knowledge and basic laboratory skills needed to work with proteins proficiently. Includes lab safety, scientific measurements, notebook keeping, proper laboratory techiques, and data analysis. Covers specialized techniques to utilize equipment applicable to protein research.
