Covers properties and terms necessary for simplifying algebraic expressions and inequalities; solving basic equations and inequalities; applications through the exploration of word problems; usage of exponents both positive and negative; and operations with polynoimials including special products. Credits not applicable toward graduation. Prerequisite: Completion of
BSK 11 or appropriate placement.
Lecture 0-2 hours. Laboratory 0-4 hours. Total 1-4 hours per week.
