Utilizes all skills introduced in previous courses to assist students to become critical readers, thinkers, and writers by focusing on methods on inquiry with special emphasis on problem solving, argument/fallacious arguments, literary genre (poetry, essays), rhetorical patterns of development (comparison, cause/ effect, persuasion/problem solving). A research paper using secondary sources and documentation using MLS format is required. Prerequisite:
BSK 45 or appropriate placement.
Lecture 0-2 hours. Laboratory 0-4 hours. Total 2-4 hours per week.
