Provides instruction to manage an afloat ship's store operation and to operate as a senior ships serviceman. Includes procurement, receipt and issue of stock, customer service, security, cash handling procedures, accountability of ship's store material and submission of ship's store returns. Introduces daily operation of vending machines and bulk storerooms with emphasis placed on records keeping procedures for both manual and automated records keeping operations.
