Provides a general overview of the masticatory system and the dynamics of mandibular movement. Occlusal restorations are fabricated in wax on a semi-adjustable articulator according to functional criteria. Students observe fabrication procedure demonstrations and receive one-on-one instruction during part of the laboratory sessions.
Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 5 hours per week.
