EIP 240 - Interpreting in the Educational Setting
Examines the roles, responsibilities and communication techniques of the Educational Interpreter. Provides information on the needs of the Deaf student and methods used in teaching students who are Deaf and hard-of-Hearing. Emphasizes skill development using conceptually accurate signs. Prerquisite: EIP 214 and EIP 234 or consent of instructor. These courses may not transfer to any other VCCS institutions in ASL or INT programs.
