EMT 131 - Introduction to Technical Rescuer-Rescuer System
Prepares the student to understand the intricafy of Rescue Systems and its application in an emergency situation. Includes Incident Command safety, building collapse, stokes, Miller Board and LSP, ladder derrick, ladder hinge, A-Frame ladder, tripod, ladder slide, and basic haul systems. Prerequisite: EMT and EMT 133.
Lecture 1 hour. Laboratory 2 hours. Total 3 hours per week.
