Reviews material covered in the emergency medical technician/basic course. Emphasizes critical decision making and performance ocjectives. Includes material on recent developments in the area of pre-hospital basic life support. Required for Virginia and National Registry recertifications as an EMT/B. Prerequisite: Current EMT/B certification or division approval.
Lecture 1-2 hours. Laboratory 2 hours. Total 3-4 hours per week.
