Prepares the student for Virginia and National Registry Paramedic certification. Focuses on integrating pathophysiological principles and assessment findings to formulate an impression and implement a treatment plan for patients with common comlaints. Includes preparation for the National Registry Paramedic Exam. (Conforms to the 1998 Department of Transportation Curriculum for EMT - Paramedics.) Prerequisite:
EMT 176 Lecture 1 hour per week.
