Prepares EMT for the role of an EMT-Shock Trauma. Conforms to the State of Virginia guidelines for EMT-Shock Trauma. Includes all aspects of the Shock Trauma curriculum as defined by the State of Virginia Office of Emergency Medical Services. Prerequisite: Current EMT Certification. Co-Requisite:
EMT 250 Shock Trauma Skills and
EMT 290 Clinical Internship.
