Emphasizes multiple use of forest lands, public conflict and participation in planning processes, timber appraisal, contracts, forest management principles, principles of ecosystem (landscape) based management, regional forest management regulations, sustainable forest management concepts/certification, record keeping and basic accounting. Practice development of forest management plans for a landowner meeting specific multiple use objectives. Prerequisites
FOR 295 Topics in Forest Mapping.
