HIT 141 - Introduction to Health Care and Health-IT in the U.S.
Focuses on how health care is organized and services are delivered in the evolving electronic health care environment. Covers public policy, the interrelationship of health care facilities and regulatory organizations, legal and regulatory issues, health care financing, the history and adoption of electronic health records (EHRs) and health-IT, and reinforces the roles of health care professionals. Covers evolving health care initiatives in the electronic environment.
