MUS 139 - Shape Note Singing
An introductory level course on the history and performance of shape note singing in the central Appalachian region . Classroom instruction will include lecture, demonstrations, assignments, reports, and quizzes. Student practice will be required outside of classroom hours.
Lecture 2 hours, Laboratory 2 hours per week.
