NUR 214 - Second Level Nursing IV
Emphasizes complex nursing care of individuals, families, and/or groups in various stages of development who are experiencing chronic disorders related to their biopsychosocial needs. Uses all components of the nursing process with increasing degrees of skill. Includes math computation skills, basic computer instruction related to the delivery of nursing care related to chronic disorders throughout the lifespan including immunological; hematological; infectious, sensory; burn; integumentary; sensory, and neurological disorders. Provides supervised learning experience in college nursing laboratories and/or cooperating agencies.
Lecture 1-7 hours. Laboratory 3-21 hours. Total 9-22 hours per week.
7-8 credits
