NUR 216 - Integrated Concepts II
Focuses on nursing care of individuals/families requiring the integration of complex concepts of nursing related to psychiatric and medical/surgical disorders throughout the lifespan. Includes math computational skills, basic computer instruction related to the delivery of nursing care; psychiatric, respiratory, regulatory, endocrine and hematological disorders. Uses all concepts of the nursing process with increasing degrees of skill. Provides supervised learning experiences in college nursing laboratories and/or cooperating agencies.
Lecture 1-8 hours. Laboratory 3-24 hours. Total 9-25 hours per week.
Prerequisites: determined by local college.
