Perform simultaneous interpretations from monologues in the student's first language into the second language. Process an incoming English monologue while simultaneously producing an appropriate interpretation in ASL. Conduct research in the field of interpretation. Apply team interpreting techniques. Interact with consumers of interpretation. Prerequisites:
SCM 133,
SCM 134. Co-requisite:
SCM 233.
Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 5 hours per week.
