Introduces the history of oxyacetylene welding, principles of welding and cutting, nomenclature of the equipment, assembly of the puddle, running flat beads, butt welding in different positions, brazing, hard and soft soldering. Discuss procedures in the use of tools and equipment.
Lecture 2 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 5 hours per week.
