ACC 221 - Intermediate Accounting I
Covers accounting principles and theory, including a review of the accounting cycle and accounting for current assets, current liabilities and investments. Introduces various accounting approaches and demonstrates the effect of these approaches on the financial statement users. Prerequisite ACC 212 or equivalent.

This course is part of a project called IncludEd, in which student tuition and fees include the cost of required course materials. The cost for the course materials for this class is $115.79. The electronic course materials will be available to students in Blackboard when the course begins. Starting July 1st, students will be billed for both tuition and required electronic course materials. Printed copies of textbooks will be available in the bookstore if you wish to purchase on your own.
This virtual course meets entirely online except for at least one proctored exam. This course meets through web conferencing software at the times indicated in the course schedule. Student attendance is required.
This course will meet online via Zoom on Wednesdays at 6:00pm.
