ADJ 110 - Introduction to Law Enforcement
Studies the philosophy and history of law enforcement, presenting an overview of the crime problem and policy response issues. Surveys the jurisdictions and organizations of local, state, and federal law enforcement agencies. Examines the qualification requirements and career opportunities in the law enforcement profession.

This course is part of a project called IncludEd, in which student tuition and fees include the cost of required course materials. The cost for the course materials for this class is $43.75. The electronic course materials will be available to students in Canvas when the course begins. Starting July 1st, students will be billed for both tuition and required electronic course materials.
This hybrid course meets online more than 50% of the time. This course combines scheduled face-to-face meetings in a classroom with online coursework. Faculty may schedule optional virtual meetings through web conferencing software.
