AST 101 - Keyboarding I
Teaches the alpha/numeric keyboard with emphasis on correct techniques, speed, and accuracy. Teaches formatting of basic personal and business correspondence, reports and tabulation. A laboratory co-requisite (AST 103) may be required.
Lecture 2-4 hours per week.

This course is part of a project called IncludEd, in which student tuition and fees include the cost of required course materials. The cost for the course materials for this class is $94.60. The electronic course materials will be available to students in Canvas when the course begins. Starting July 1st, students will be billed for both tuition and required electronic course materials.
"V" sections are offered online anytime and do not require attendance. However, there may be set due dates for assignments, tests, etc. You may need a webcam and microphone for audio and video capabilities. Students may be required to take at least one proctored assessment. The assessment may be given using one of BRCC?s remote proctoring services, such as Respondus Lockdown Browser and Video Monitoring and/or Zoom.
