CHM 112 - General Chemistry II
Explores the fundamental laws, theories, and mathematical concepts of chemistry. Designed primarily for science and engineering majors. Requires a strong background in mathematics. Students must earn a grade of C or higher in the lecture portion of the course to earn an overall grade of C or higher. Part II of II.
Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 6 hours per week.
Prerequisite: CHM 111 with a grade of C or higher

Students must register for a CHM 112 lab.
"V" sections are offered online anytime and do not require attendance. However, there may be set due dates for assignments, tests, etc. You may need a webcam and microphone for audio and video capabilities. Students may be required to take at least one proctored assessment. The assessment may be given using one of BRCCs remote proctoring services, such as Respondus Lockdown Browser and Video Monitoring and/or Zoom. This course is part of a project called IncludEd, in which student tuition and fees include the cost of required course materials. The cost for the course materials for this class is $1.00. The electronic course materials will be available to students in Canvas when the course begins. Printed copies of textbooks will be available in the bookstore if you wish to purchase on your own.
