MTH 261 - Applied Calculus I
Introduces limits, continuity, differentiation and integration of algebraic, exponential and logarithmic functions, and techniques of integration with an emphasis on applications in business, social sciences and life sciences. This is a Passport Transfer course.
Lecture 3 hours. Total 3 hours per week.
Prerequisite: Completion of MTH 161 or equivalent with a grade of C or better.

This virtual course is entirely online except for at least one proctored exam. Students will complete scheduled assignments by given deadlines. Course materials and instructions are provided through Canvas. Faculty may schedule optional virtual meetings through web conferencing software.
This course is part of a project called IncludEd, in which student tuition and fees include the cost of required course materials. The cost for the course materials for this class is $69.99. The electronic course materials will be available to students in Canvas when the course begins. Starting July 1st, students will be billed for both tuition and required electronic course materials.
