REA 100 - Principles of Real Estate
Examines practical applications of real estate principles. Includes a study of titles, estates, land descriptions, contracts, legal instruments and concepts, real estate mathematics, financing, agency, appraisal, fair housing, and management of real estate.
Lecture 4 hours per week.

REA 110 - Real Estate Sales
Focuses on the fundamentals of sales principles as they apply to real estate. Includes prospect, motives, needs, and abilities to buy real estate.

REA 195 - Topics In
Provides an opportunity to explore topical areas of interest to or needed by students.
May be used also for special honors courses. May be repeated for credit. Variable hours.

REA 199 - Supervised Study
Assigns problems for independent study incorporating previous instruction and supervised by the instructor.
May be repeated for credit. Variable hours.

REA 215 - Real Estate Brokerage
Considers administrative principles and practices of real estate brokerage, financial control and marketing of real property.
Lecture 3 hours per week.

REA 216 - Real Estate Appraisal
Explores fundamentals of real estate valuation. Introduces the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice and the Uniform Residential Appraisal Report formulations, working problems and reviewing actual appraisals. Includes the opportunities available in the appraisal field.

REA 217 - Real Estate Finance
Presents principles and practices of financing real estate. Analyzes various types of note contracts and mortgage and deed of trust instruments. Covers underwriting of conventional and government insured and guaranteed loans.

REA 245 - Real Estate Law
Focuses on real estate law, including rights pertaining to property ownership and management, agency, contracts, transfers of real property ownership, fair housing, and tax implications.

REA 295 - Topics In
Provides an opportunity to explore topical areas of interest to or needed by students.

REA 297 - Cooperative Education
Supervises in on-the-job training for pay in approved business, industrial and service firms, coordinated by the college's cooperative education office. Is applicable to all occupational- technical curricula at the discretion of the college.
Credit/work ratio not to exceed 1:5 hours. May be repeated for credit. Variable hours.
