- Emphasizes fire control, smoke management, timber theft, major forest pests and diseases, exotic and invasive species, and other threats to forest health. Includes optional test for red or green card certification and a non-commercial pesticide applicator's license. Lecture 1 hour Laboratory 4 hours Total 5 hours per week.3 credits. - Studies the interrelationships of organisms and the natural and cultural environments with emphasis on human influences, ecological structures, survey of populations, communities, and ecosystems.Lecture 3 hours. Laboratory 3 hours. Total 6 hours per week.
