Introduces the equipment, processes, and components of electric discharge machining. Includes basic operation and programming for computer numerical control (CNC) electric discharge machining (EDM).
Lecture 1 hour. Laboratory 2 hours. Total 3 hours per week.

The student will be able to understand electric discharge machining (EDM). The student will be able to program and operate the electric discharge (EDM) machine.
