Examines the use of the Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW) process of welding aluminum. Focuses on welding aluminum projects in various weld joint configurations and in all welding positions.
Lecture 1 hour, Laboratory 3 hours, Total 4 hours per week.

General Course Purpose

To provide students with the opportunity to develop their GMAW skills with aluminum and the opportunity for an AWS certification.
