ITE 100 - Introduction to Information Systems
Covers the fundamentals of computers and computing and topics which include impact of computers on society, ethical issues, and terminology. Provides discussion about available hardware and software as well as their application.
Lecture 3-4 hours per week.

ITE 109 - Information Systems for Legal Assistants
Presents terminology and concepts of computer-based systems, an introductory coverage of operating systems and business application software to conduct legal research for litigation and other application programs traditionally used in the practice of law.

ITE 115 - Introduction to Computer Applications and Concepts
Covers computer concepts and internet skills, and uses a software suite which includes word processing, spreadsheet, database, and presentation software to demonstrate skills. Recommended prerequisite keyboarding skills.

ITE 130 - Introduction to Internet Services
Provides students with a working knowledge of Internet terminology and services including e-mail, WWW browsing, search engines, ftp, file compression, and other services using a variety of software packages. Provides instruction for basic web page construction.

ITE 140 - Spreadsheet Software
Covers the use of spreadsheet software to create spreadsheets with formatted cells and cell ranges, control pages, multiple sheets, charts, and macros. Topics include type and edit text in a cell, enter data on multiple worksheets, work with formulas and functions, create charts, pivot tables, and styles, insert headers and footers, and filter data.

ITE 150 - Desktop Database Software
Incorporates instruction in planning, defining, and using a database; performing queries; producing reports; working with multiple files; and concepts of database programming. Includes database concepts, principles of table design and table relationships, entering data, creating and using forms, using data from different sources, filtering, creating mailing labels.
Lecture 3-4 hours per week.

ITE 180 - Help Desk Support Skills
Emphasizes instruction in customer support techniques required for analyzing and coordinating software and hardware solutions for end-user needs. includes evaluation and communication techniques required to provide help desk support necessary to transfer knowledge and enable implementation of a solution.

ITE 195 - Topics In
Provides an opportunity to explore topical areas of interest to or needed by students.
May be used also for special honors courses. May be repeated for credit. Variable hours.

ITE 221 - PC Hardware and OS Architecture
Covers instruction about processors, internal functions, peripheral devices, computer organization, memory management, architecture, instruction format, and basic OS architecture.
Lecture 3-4 hours per week.

ITE 290 - Coordinated Internship
Supervises on-the-job training in selected business, industrial or service firms coordinated by the college.
Credit/practice ratio not to exceed 1:5 hours. May be repeated for credit. Variable hours.
