CAD 242 - Parametric Solid Modeling II
Focuses on teaching students the design of parts by parametric solid modeling. Topics covered will include, but not limited to, sketch profiles; geometric and dimensional constraints; 3-D features; model generation by extrusion, revolution and sweep; and the creation of 2-D drawing views that include sections, details and auxiliary. Part II of II. (Credit will not be awarded for both CAD 242 and DRF 242.)

All class materials are presented in Canvas, but the instructor will also hold classes through video conferencing at a set day/time each week. This is the most similar to a traditional face-to-face class. Students will need, at minimum, the ability to participate in those video conferences through an audio connection. Participation on those class meeting dates is required (similar to a traditional face-to-face class). Class meets on Tuesday from 2:30 to 4:30 pm.
