ITN 261 - Network Attacks, Computer Crime and Hacking
Encompasses in-depth exploration of various methods for attacking and defending a network. Explores network security concepts from the viewpoint hackers and their attack methodologies. Includes topics about hackers, attacks, Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) malicious code, computer crime and industrial espionage.
Lecture 3-4 hours per week.

All class materials are presented in Canvas, but the instructor will also hold classes through video conferencing at a set day/time each week. This is the most similar to a traditional face-to-face class. Students will need, at minimum, the ability to participate in those video conferences through an audio connection. Participation on those class meeting dates is required (similar to a traditional face-to-face class). Class will meet from 7 to 9:45 pm.
