MTH 261 - Applied Calculus I
Introduces limits, continuity, differentiation and integration of algebraic, exponential and logarithmic functions, and techniques of integration with an emphasis on applications in business, social sciences and life sciences. This is a Passport Transfer course.
Lecture 3 hours. Total 3 hours per week.
Prerequisite: Completion of MTH 161 or equivalent with a grade of C or better.

All class materials are presented in Canvas, but the instructor will also hold classes through video conferencing at a set day/time each week. This is the most similar to a traditional face-to-face class. Students will need, at minimum, the ability to participate in those video conferences through an audio connection. Participation on those class meeting dates is required (similar to a traditional face-to-face class). Class meets on Tuesday and Thursday from 11 am to 12:20 pm.
