Studies the use of geothermal energy for large and small scale production. Covers the feasibility of heat pump applications for local use on an individual basis.
(4 Cr.) Lecture 3 hours. Lab 3 hours. Total 6 hours per week.

General Course Purpose
To learn about the general uses of geothermal energy and its application to heat pumps.
Course Objectives
- Upon completing the course, the student will be able to: Determine the feasibility of using geothermal power in a given installation.
